Dating belleek

Henshall remained at Belleek until his death and his heirs sill reside there.Few collectors realize that earthenware was the first product of Belleek.

The sixth mark (third green mark) dates from 1965 to 1981 and the words . The eleventh mark, similar to the millennium mark but green, was introduced in 2001. The second mark, black, dates from 1891 to 1926 and includes the words .The thirteenth trademark, used from 2008 to 2010, is similar to the twelfth but is brown and has no banner.It remained their principal product until 1920, and was only discontinued entirely in 1946.Examples of early earthenware are rare and consequently quite costly if they can be found at all.
