Interracial dating marriage is wrong
American Indians have the highest interracial marriage rate among all single-race groups.Women are slightly more likely to “marry out” than men in this group: 61% of American Indian female newlyweds married outside their race, compared with 54% of American Indian male newlyweds. Why is there still such obvious disapproval of interracial romance and relationship? The percentage of non-blacks who said they'd oppose a relative marrying a black person dropped from 63 percent to 14 percent in less than 20 years, according to a recent Pew poll. One in six people is married to a person from a race different than their own.
Question: “Why do you think interracial relationships are wrong? But my grandmother— who was as kindly and fair-minded as any woman on Earth, and I killed the only person who ever spoke ill of her in my presence— was morally opposed to interracial marriage.
The trend toward more interracial marriages is undoubtedly related, at least in part, to changing social norms.
Our previous surveys have documented growing acceptance among the public.
Fully a quarter of black men who got married in 2013 married someone who was not black.
Only 12% of black women married outside of their race.
