Meeting artist dating

This ranks as just about the worst first date you can go on.

Why This Doesn’t Work: You’re forced to interact too much.

It doesn’t matter how much you like each other at first. It’s a lot like going on a job interview more than a date.

If the conversation falls flat there’s nothing to do but stare at your plate and hope the awkwardness passes.

We invite proposals that address timely topics or issues related to cultural production and that contribute to CUE’s mission of supporting emerging and under-recognized artists. This open call invites local and international artist and welcomes works of all forms and disciplines. If you like a work, you can meet and exchange with the artist directly!

Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers.

What’s more, shared tasks create rapport between people.

But only do this if you’re both comfortable being at someone’s house.

Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended.
